Well it's just a couple of weeks until the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride from Pidcocks in Long Eaton. I must say I'm looking forward to it tremendously. 

I have been blown away by the generosity of my sponsors - I really can't thank you enough.

Oddly, all my dapper outfits in the wardrobe seem to have shrunk, I imagine that it's something to do with the climate - or sun spots, maybe?

Anyway, I have now fallen back to plan w, and will be going all Avant-Garde/Shabby Chic/slightly distressed (basically throwing together anything I can find that still fits.)

Handily, I'm starting my diet on Monday ! :-)

Well, to say that I'm grateful would be an understatement. The response to my request for donations has been truly mind blowing - thank you all so much. 
I really believe that it is vital to raise awareness of men's health, and the idea of doing that by dressing dapper in my best bib and tucker and joining one of hundreds of Distinguished Gentleman's Rides happening around the world on the same day really appealed. 
so thank you again so much!

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Tuesday 28th Mar 2023 On Sunday the 21st of May 2023, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
