I'm now officially raising funds again for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, an annual global event which supports prostate cancer research and men's mental health services.
This is my sixth DGR and fourth in NYC. It is an event close to my heart, one that both educates people to seek help when they need it and prompts them to get tested so that cancer can be detected in the early stages when a cure is within reach.
I have had close friends succumb to cancer. I have had close friends lose their battle with depression. I myself almost left this mortal coil in my early '20s when I though life was too much and couldn't see a way through. That's why I do this and hope you will help out any way you can.
On Sunday the 30th of September, I will don my finest attire with my fellow men and women across the globe to join the fight with The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride to raise awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health. But before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I need you to donate what you can for this meaningful cause and help me reach my goal.
For your uncles, your brothers, your fathers and friends. Donate what you can, for their lives need not end.
Keep up the good work, hope the weather is good for the ride.
ride safe and with purpose, my friend.
Ride Dapper, Ride Safe!
Have a great ride, Rahoul!!
Good luck, dude!
