I’m doing this ride for 1 selfless reason and 2 selfish ones.
1. I haven’t done anything significantly charitable for several years and I feel I am well overdue a chance to give something back to society. Cancer will in some way impact on everyone’s lives directly or indirectly and many of us have already experienced the trauma and emotional turmoil it brings with it. Anything I can do to bring attention to Men’s Health and the risks of Cancer can only be a good thing.
2. Those who know me already know I have a great passion for Motorcycles, I have been riding for 15 years and picked up my dream bike this year, a Triumph Thruxton R 1200cc customised by the legends and artisans that are @downandoutmotorcycles in Rotherham. The chance to ride this beautiful beast across the streets of London with fellow passionate bikers all for a good cause was too much to resist. I missed the chance to register last year and am excited to take part this year
3. My passion for bikes is only matched by my enthusiasm for all things sartorial in the world of Men's Tailoring. I love a good Tweed 3 piece and am excited to wear a heritage inspired ensemble as I cruise through London looking dapper as f**k.
I would love for some sponsorship towards this great cause and look forward to doing my bit for the cause this September.
See you all there, can’t wait.
On Sunday the 24th of September, I will don my finest attire with my fellow men and women across the globe to join the fight with The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride to raise awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health. But before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I need you to donate what you can for this meaningful cause and help me reach my goal.
For your uncles, your brothers, your fathers and friends. Donate what you can, for their lives need not end.
Thank you for all the donations thus far!
Proud of you xxx
