If you are thinking about joining the most fun DGR in New Zealand, then Hamilton is it!
Thank you to all 175 riders that raised some $33,000 to support The Movember Foundations men's health charter. Doing so put Hamilton in just its 2nd DGR as the highest motorcycle fundraising event in New Zealand (outside Auckland).
Photos of the event can be viewed here https://www.dropbox.com/sh/yg31yskisaczwbe/AAA9mSBC9OJ9kgABliTmjMhya?dl=0
Bravo Waikato, and see you in 2018.
One has to admire people like Stephanie, a rider in the Hamilton DGR. Check out her full story online https://i.stuff.co.nz/motoring/bikes/96513267/distinguished-gentlemens-ride-not-only-for-distinguished-gentlemen
Honored to have Stephanie and all the other amazing ladyfolk riders helping us men along the journey.
Get ready for some great bands at the Hamilton DGR with Joe's Music House rocking the half way pit stop, and Out of the Blues bringing it home at the Hood Street party. Register to ride and start raising funds today.
Honored to have Hugh Anderson MBE again riding in the Hamilton DGR this September. Be sure to register for New Zealand's most fun DGR here in Hamilton, and ride alongside the world's original cafe racer inspiration himself.
The Hamilton DGR is set to smash its inaugural 2016 fund raising goal, and play an even larger role in men's health research. Bravo I say Waikato!
The celebration of our efforts will be a jolly good ride day on September 24 with multiple bands, party pit stops along the route, motorcycle stalls and many giveaways.
Of course our local ambassador and motorcycle world champion Hugh Anderson MBE will be riding along with his family. We will also have over 20 road side marshal volunteers helping make the day an easy ride for all.
Look out for the street banners down Victoria street in the month prior to the event, promoting our finish in Hood Street for general public to come witness our dapper dressed riders in celebration of their fund raising efforts.
Want to have a fun day, then make it the Hamilton DGR, the most fun DGR in New Zealand.
On Sunday the 24th of September, I will don my finest attire with my fellow men and women across the globe to join the fight with The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride to raise awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health. But before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I need you to donate what you can for this meaningful cause and help me reach my goal.
For your uncles, your brothers, your fathers and friends. Donate what you can, for their lives need not end.
Thank you for all the donations thus far!
