I'm too young to have suffered from Bowel / Prostate Cancer.
But I know about mental health.
Mental health should not be taboo.
Mental health is health. It concerns everyone.
Mental Health can drive your life or drive you off the rails and make your life miserable.
Mental health can be an illness or a blessing.
Mental Health can be maintained, lost or cured.
Mental Health needs to be a priority in your life.
Mental health will connect you to the world, or leave you isolated.
Talk about it, talk to your family, care for them, care for your friends, care for that isolated stranger in the street, talk to that coworker that doesn't seem to be doing so good.
Mental health is scary because it's taboo, and it should not be.
So support me or ride with me, but let's talk about it.
On Sunday the 24th of September, I will don my finest attire with my fellow men and women across the globe to join the fight with The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride to raise awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health. But before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I need you to donate what you can for this meaningful cause and help me reach my goal.
For your uncles, your brothers, your fathers and friends. Donate what you can, for their lives need not end.
Thank you for all the donations thus far!
I lost my uncle to prostate cancer this year. So happy to support the good cause.
