First time riding this Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, thing.

This year, I'll be taking part in my first Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. I'm keen to get out on the bike and enjoy the roads of the Peninsula while raising some funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health.

I've never done anything like Movember or this before. It's taken me a while to get there.

My old man had a very tough time with his mental health, and, later on, Prostate Cancer. Johnno suffered from severe depressive episodes throughout his life, and passed away in 2019 after thirteen years of radio, chemo and hormone therapy. 

His struggles had a huge effect on his friendships and personal relationships over the years, as they do for the many men who suffer similar issues.

Anyhow, if you're up for it, chuck a few bucks toward this effort, in the hope that the work done by the Movember foundation might see things improve in future.
