Crashed my ride 3 days before the event

Thursday 18th May 2023

There, now it's public. I was casually riding yesterday afternoon, heading to my favorite dealership for an oil change when a lady on the second lane decided to change lanes without looking in the mirror first...

Despite my best effort to avoid the accident, she bumped right into me whilst I was riding at 70 km/h (legal speed, in case you were wondering). Following the accident, I was left with some bruises on my elbow and ankle, but my BMW R nineT's left mirror, handlebar, crashbar, engine casket, spark plug lid, foot peg and Akrapovič exhaust are scratched and smashed.

Nevertheless, I wouldn't miss the event for the world, so I guess I'll be showing off my smashed modern classic in Oradea.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Sunday 7th May 2023 On Sunday the 21st of May 2023, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
