Riding for men's health

This year,2025 will be my 9th DGR. I enjoy the ride,as it's very different to all other rides. It's a day when your can wear your Sunday best ,polish up your bike and join 2 to 3 hundred other riders on the day. Some of the outfits are really Dapper and vintage.  I did win best dressed suite 2 years ago. It was a blue iridescent tartan suite which I will be wearing this coming ride. It's not for the prize again,I love the suite. I won a $100 voucher for dinner for my family  at Nth Wollongong Pub.  And it was a great dinner. Thankyou to Wollongong Lord Mayor  Gordon who liked my suite.  So let's have another great year.  Marty Edwards

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Friday 9th May 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
