Too close to home!

Hiya Guys, 

Welcome back!

Last year the 21st of May, a week before I had Prostate Cancer surgery, I was able to go on this ride with my best mates and new friends, to raise funds and awareness for Prostate Cancer and Mens Mental Health, two things very close to my heart, 

You may or may not know one of my best mates took his own life in 2016, Huggy, we miss you, (insert expletive here)

My Prostate journey was very rapid, from a raised PSA, 30 Jan,(Geeson 9) to Surgery on the 29th of May.

There is an amazing network of very special people in our sleepy little town that help people every day with these issues.

I have seen first hand how this charity helps people like me on this terrifying journey to make it through the best we can. 

my motto has been, Save my life, we'll deal with the rest of this crap later, 

I can't thank enough, my beautiful wife, Peta, every step of the way I love you, 

my family, my friends, and the amazing Doctors and  Specialists that got me this far, 

my legend Boss for being so accomodating, 

words can't express my thanks!

On the 9th of April we will be in Melbourne for some more surgery, for a bit of "we'll deal with some of this crap later"

given this, and recovery, I may not make the ride, 😩

but will definately be there!

last year we made it up to the top 3 fundraisers in the state, and then got bumped down a bit on the day, and that in itself is awesome, because it all helps. not bad at all with I think 2 weeks notice.
