Riding for the Men We’ve Lost, and the Ones We Can Save

Monday 7th Apr 2025

I’ve lost both my grandfathers to cancer and preventable diseases.

My father-in-law is fighting aggressive lymphoma.

As a former policeman, I’ve witnessed the devastating effects when men don’t get the mental health care they need.

And I’ve said goodbye to too many others whose lives were cut short by cancer.

That’s why I’m taking part in The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride - not just for the joy of the ride, but for something far more meaningful.

I’ll be joining thousands of men and women worldwide, riding with purpose to raise life-saving funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s mental health through Movember.

Right now, too many men are suffering in silence.
They’re dying on average six years earlier than women, often from preventable causes.
We’re losing dads, grandads, brothers, mates, and it doesn’t have to be this way.

So before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I’m asking for your support.
