great cause/event
Sunday 11th May 2025Hi all - this seems like a wonderful event I've recently learned about from my buddy Lucas - the jacket I'm sporting I paid $6 for from my friend John Williams who is doing battle with cancer right now. Saddly i also learned my uiuc commencement ceremonies are at the very same time, thus I cannot participate/ride in the event this year - but hope to in the future.
I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
Wednesday 7th May 2025On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride where fellow men and women ride across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my bike, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
