Gearing Up for My First Distinguished Gentleman's Ride: A Mix of Excitement and Purpose
Wednesday 9th Apr 2025Hello fellow riders and supporters,
Hello fellow riders and supporters,
The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is just around the corner, and I couldn’t be more thrilled! This year marks my very first participation in this incredible event, and I'm buzzing with anticipation.
I've been admiring the DGR from afar for some time now – the stunning classic motorcycles, the impeccable style, and, most importantly, the powerful cause it supports. The idea of combining my passion for riding with raising awareness and funds for men's health is something that truly resonates with me.
I've been busy preparing my Triumph Speed 400, polishing the chrome, and carefully selecting my attire. I'm going for a classic tweed and a vintage helmet look, and I can’t wait to join the sea of dapper riders on the day.
More than just the aesthetic, I'm eager to be part of a community that's making a real difference. Learning about the impact of prostate cancer and mental health challenges on men has made me even more determined to contribute. I'm excited to ride with purpose and show my support.
I'm looking forward to experiencing the camaraderie, the shared passion, and the sense of unity that the DGR is known for. I know this ride will be a memorable experience, and I'm proud to be a part of it.
I'm counting down the days until I can join fellow riders in raising awareness and funds for men's health. I'll be sure to share my experience after the ride, but for now, I'm just soaking in the anticipation!
Ride on, and stay distinguished!
Sincerely,
Satyajit

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride
Tuesday 8th Apr 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
