Looking forward to the 2024 Gentleman’s Ride

It's that time of year again and I'm thrilled to be able to participate in my fourth Distinguished Gentleman's Ride to raise funds and awareness for men's health issues. DGR has joined forces with the Movember Foundation. You may remember the social media campaigns "Mustache Movember", where men around the world sported mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness about men's prostate health. We men can be proud and stubborn, and we don't like to talk about depression or seek treatment. Many of us also don't like to get tested for prostate cancer. Movember funds research, counseling, and awareness programs around the world, fighting prostate cancer and men's suicide. Since 2006, Movember has funded the development of five life-extending therapys, three PET Imaging Radiotracers, and one blood test for prostate cancer. They are funding counseling programs in several countries, encouraging men to seek help for depression. In all, Movember has funded more than 1,250 programs in 23 countries. I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Saturday 30th Mar 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
