Have been riding motorcycles since the age of 14. Now 68 and rapidly approaching my 69th birthday I still have the greatest passion for my 2 wheel adventures. Last year 2023 I rode to the South of France to visit relatives in Uzes. A wonderful old town with great history and fabulous markets and hospitality. I used my Triumph Street Scrambler 900cc in Matt Pacific Blue and Silver, a Gold Line special edition. Drew plenty of admiration from all who saw it. Rode on my own and enjoyed every mile. The most comfortable seat of any bike I have ever owned. My last day was 595 miles and 22 hours long due to some scroat stealing my passport and camera from my panniers. There are very few bikes you feel like throwing a leg over when you have had such a long and frustrating day. The Triumph was brilliant and a real friend during a difficult day - my perfect companion on a long trip. Cruising on autoroute at 80 mph and having enough in reserve to accelerate past a line of trucks, and keeping to speed limits in built up areas with ease. Puts a smile 😊 on your face always.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Sunday 7th Apr 2024 On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
