Smaller Ride

A big part of the reason why I got back to riding motorcycles was because of The Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride. I thought it was super cool a bunch of motorcycle enthusiasts got together and dressed up with fancy suits and bow ties to ride café racers for a great cause that generally nobody paid attention to. Prostate Cancer and Men's Mental Health. I always loved the café racer style motorcycles but I had stepped away from riding for years. I obsessed about finally getting a vintage motorcycle to mod out café style. I finally participated in my first ride in 2016 for NYC with a 1976 BMW R75/6 not really knowing what to expect. It was mind blowing the amount of people that showed up to ride.The vibe was great and ever since I look forward to riding for DGR. This year I'm participating in a much smaller DGR spinoff in Oyster Bay since we moved to Long Island. Oyster Bay is the home of Billy Joel's motorcycle museum which has a lot of BMW airheads on display so it makes sense. I will most likely ride the BMW C400X scooter to be comfortable like last time but maybe I'll take the '92 Honda VFR400. Either way I can't wait for the ride. 

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Wednesday 26th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
