£10k after 10 DGRs and still rising

Amazing support these last few days as I pass my aimed total for this year .... meaning I have now raised £10k after 10 yrs of taking part in DGR .... and that amount is still rising.

Next phase of treatment starts tomorrow

A big thank you to all family, friends and ex-colleagues for their kind words and much valued support these last six months.

Tomorrow at 8am the next stage of treatment starts at Guys Cancer Centre [Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup].... and continues until May 15th. 

10yrs and £10000 ?

It's my tenth DGR and I'm hoping to raise enough this year to reach (or exceed ?) £10000 as my grand total over the decade of my fundraising.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

On Sunday the 19th of May 2024, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember.

This will be my 10th ride and in a year when the brilliant Oncology team have upped their treatment to tackle my cancer. Big thanks to Beckenham Beacon Hospital & Guys Cancer Centre at Queen Mary's Hospital for all they are doing.

Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that.

So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we all know and love to live happier, healthier and hopefully longer lives ..... and I can give something back to help fund the research and support programmes for the many future patients with prostate cancer.
