Ten Years!

This year marks ten years of riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride for me. Over the past decade, I’ve ridden three different bikes and raised over $13,000 for men’s health—specifically for mental health and prostate cancer, two causes that are deeply personal.

My dad is a prostate cancer survivor. Thanks to early detection and tough treatments, he beat it—a journey that wasn’t easy, but one we’re incredibly grateful for. He’s also the one who introduced me to motorcycles when I was a kid, and we’ve shared countless miles and memories together on two wheels.

But my reason for riding goes even deeper. Fifteen years ago, I lost one of my best friends, Will Pope, to suicide. If you knew Will, you’d remember him as the life of the party—kind, funny, and always there for others. What most people didn’t see was the silent struggle he was facing. Mental health used to be something we didn’t talk about. That needs to change.

When I joined my first DGR ride a decade ago, I rode for Will. I still do.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Saturday 26th Apr 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
