My motivation to be part of the ride

Monday 28th Apr 2025

I’ve had a surgery on April 22 that thankfully freed me from pancreatic cancer, after 7 hard months of chemotherapy.

On August 21, 2024 I was diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The tumor was as big as a golf ball and had already metastasised to the liver. At that time I thought my life was over. Many doctors said that the tumor was inoperable and incurable.

8 months later I am cancer-free thanks to the fantastic work of wonderful professionals in the fields of western medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and shamanic healing, and possibly also through my positive attitude and my faith in the healing capacity of my body and thanks to the support of family and friends around me.

I’ve signed up for this charity event on May 18th, 2025 with my Triumph to support the fight against cancer.

If you feel like supporting me with a donation, I’d be truly grateful. The money goes directly to the NGO “Movember” which supports men’s health.

My goal is now to recover by May 18th so I can take part to the ride with my beautiful Triumph Bonneville T120: a symbol for my triumphant and miraculous recovery.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Friday 25th Apr 2025

On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
