Unveiling My Ride for DGR 2025 – the CCM Maverick

I’m proud to finally reveal the bike I’ll be riding in this year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride – the CCM Maverick. Huge thanks to the team at CCM Motorcycles for kindly loaning me this handcrafted beauty, and to Bikesure, who’ve generously provided the insurance to get me on the road.

The Maverick is everything you’d want in a DGR bike – classic styling with modern attitude. It’s a scrambler with a dual personality: rugged and raw yet refined, just as happy carving through city streets as it is getting muddy off the beaten track. Built around a 600cc engine in a lightweight 150kg frame, it delivers a proper punch with 55bhp and twin pipes that growl every time you twist the throttle.

There’s something special about a bike that blends craftsmanship with character – and the Maverick has both in spades. I can’t wait to ride this head-turner on the big day, suited and booted, raising funds for men’s health.

All Set for the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

Everything’s now in place for this year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride. Insurance has kindly been provided through another generous partnership, and the collection of the bike has been arranged – more on that very soon.

Thanks to the incredible support so far, I’ve already raised over $250, which means I’ll be receiving the Gentlefolk Club patch again this year – something I’m genuinely proud of. But there’s still time to go further. If you’d like to help me hit my fundraising goal and support men’s health, every donation makes a difference.

The bike will be collected on 14 May – and while I can’t give too much away yet, the unveiling will be worth the wait. I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes content in the run-up to the ride, so stay tuned.

I’m excited to be teaming up with a fantastic British motorcycle brand for this year’s event. I can’t reveal too much just yet, but let’s just say I’ll be arriving in style on something truly unique.

Really proud to be supporting such an important cause once again - riding with friends old and new, raising funds and awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research.

I'm Riding for Men's Health in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride

Monday 24th Mar 2025 On Sunday the 18th of May 2025, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives.
